SIEMENS EXCELLENCE CENTRE (SEC) & Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signage.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Ville Parle Kelavani Mandal’s Institute of Technology, Dhule On 14th sep-2019 has Inaugurated the SIEMENS EXCELLENCE CENTRE (SEC).The purpose of this is to develop the skill sets in the students by establishing the Siemens Excellence Center (SEC) inside the institute campus and running the Siemens certified professional programs where the students will be trained on various softwares based on CAD/CAM/CNC/CAE/CFD.Various SIMENS PLM (Product life Cycle Management) softwares would be taught to the students by the professional and Authorised trainers directly appointed by the company. The scope of this training is to make available the skilled and employable graduates (mainly mechanical engineering students but not limited) to the industries & society in the field of design, development and research.
The Inauguration was done by the following eminent personalities
1) Dr. Sameer Goyal (Principal): – Shri Ville Parle Kelavani Mandal’s Institute of Pharmacy, Dhule.

2) Dr. Nilesh Salunke (Principal): – Shri Ville Parle Kelavani Mandal’s Institute of Technology, Dhule.

3) Mr. Nadeem Ansari (Director: CAD-CAM GALAXY: Authorised Training Partner of SIEMENS, Chief Guest of the Event: Industry)
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between “Shri Ville Parle Kelavani Mandal’s Institute of Technology, Dhule.” And “CAD-CAM-GALAXY (Authorised Training Partner of SIEMENS PLM India Division)”.
After the felicitation session & the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Nilesh Salunke (Principal) in a very technical way addressed the audience and spoke about the importance of engineers to the society, their role and responsibilities.
After the much appreciated speech of the principal, Mr. Nadeem Ansari (Director: CAD-CAM GALAX) through the power point presentation described the global scenario of the design & development market focusing mainly on the SIEMENS PLM products and its peers and their industrial linkage and applications. Few more sessionS were also conducted by the experts from the CAD-CAM GALAXY and SIEMENS PLM team.
Prof.Mohammed. Juneduddin (HOD, Mechanical Engineering Department) continued the session and discussed about the strategies to be followed by the students to get absorbed in industries easily, the skill sets required by the industries and the ways to develop those skills set in students. All the faculties & students of Mechanical Engineering Department & other Departments of SVKM’S IOT attended the event. It was summed up and ended with the vote of thanks from HOD, mech. This inaugural event was also coupled with the celebration of ENGINEER’S DAY in advanced in lieu of celebration on 15th-SEP-2019.
